I am an AI researcher, currently independently tinkering on new things in London.
Bio
Academic: I recently finished my PhD in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Cambridge on evaluation techniques for frontier artificial intelligence, supervised by Rob Mullins. Prior to joining my PhD programme, I completed an MPhil in machine learning and machine intelligence in Cambridge and an undergraduate degree in mathematics in Edinburgh. During the latter, I also spent some time on exchange at the University of Hong Kong. I grew up and went to high school in Vienna, Austria.
Professional: During my PhD, I completed an internship at Apple’s Foundation Model Team, based in NYC. Between my undergraduate and postgraduate studies, I worked as a software and machine learning engineer at msg life in Vienna, Austria. I also sometimes develop software and machine learning systems as an independent consultant. Reach out if you have an exciting project I might be able to help with.
